Global Vision, the Canada-based automated proof-reading software company for the pharmaceutical industry, has arranged to demonstrate its content verification capabilities at the PharmPack conference in Paris, France, in early February. The firm argues its solutions can prevent a multitude of errors, including Braille errors, on prescription drug packaging.
Reuben Malz, the Montreal, Quebec-headquartered company's president, said: "with many changing regulations and the need to achieve complete content integrity, it is becoming increasingly important for our pharmaceutical clients to be able to ensure complete accuracy on all packaging." He added that "our solutions are designed to eliminate the risk of errors and give you peace of mind during the content verification process."
Docu-Proof, Global Vision's new product, is compliant with the recent European mandate for Braille on medical cartons, the firm claims, as all its systems meet European Medicines Agency (EMEA) and US Food and Drug Administration title 21 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR Part 11) requirements.
