Swiss pharm giant Roche (ROG: SIX) today announced that Wafaa Mamilli will join the company as chief digital technology officer (CDTO), reporting to group chief executive Thomas Schinecker.
She will also become a member of the enlarged corporate executive committee starting 10 February 10, and will be based at the firm’s Genentech subsidiary in South San Francisco.
In this new role, Ms Mamilli will take over the worldwide responsibility for the Informatics function for the Roche group from Alan Hippe, who currently has the dual role of chief financial officer (CFO) and chief Informatics Officer (CIO).
