The Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (ARPM), a trade group representing pharma companies in the country, has hailed the dramatic shift that has taken place in the 15 years since the association was set up.
"At the time of the establishment of the ARPM, the pharmaceutical market in Russia was $2.8 billion,” said Viktor Dmitriev, general director of the ARPM. “Today, the volume of the pharmaceutical market in Russia in the pre-crisis years has approached $27 billion, and it is included in a list of top 10 world pharmaceutical markets.”
