No irregularity in EMA's appointment of Rasi, court rules

4 October 2017

The Court of Justice of the European Union has ruled that there was nothing wrong with the recruitment procedure and Guido Rasi’s subsequent appointment as executive director of the European Medicines Agency in 2011.

This ruling brings to an end a case that was brought by Emil Hristov, a former top Bulgarian drug regulator, who applied for the job but was left off the shortlist.
