BRIEF—Trade group promotes German life sciences

The German economic development agency, Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI), has released  a new podcast looking at recent developments in the life sciences industry in the country.

GTAI is tasked with promoting and facilitating inward investment, including in pharma and biotech, and provides educational materials to encourage foreign groups to select Germany as a location for business activities.

Serving this purpose, the GTAI Podcast on healthcare looks at what is coming next for the sector, following the success of BioNTech in developing the Comirnaty vaccine.

Asking “how can international health-sector companies profit” from developments in the sector, the podcast features an interview with Germany’s Merck KGaA, and with a biotech journalist about personal medication, international partnerships and more.
