An investigation from Associated Press has found that US drugmakers continue to raise drug prices, despite high profile messaging from the White House that the US Government would act to bring prices down.
AP looked at prescription drug prices for 26,176 products over the first seven months of 2018 and found that “there were 96 price hikes for every price cut.”
The analysis captured almost all price changes during the period and covered different dosages and drug forms.
