East Coast-based Regeneron has announced it will invest $100 million in its manufacturing site in Ireland, adding 300 new jobs, to boost drug substance production capacity.
The 400,000-square-foot bioprocessing facility is one of the largest in the world.
The project is supported by Irish trade and investment group IDA Ireland, which says the facility is now expected to have 800 employees by the end of next year, with a total investment from the biotech firm of about $750,000.
