BRIEF—European groups meet for 4th annual biosimilars workshop

Several European biosimilar groups have met to discuss key issues affecting the industry at the fourth annual “workshop on biosimilar medicines.”

Organized by the European government together with trade groups representing the pharma and biosimilars industry, the event brought together a range of stakeholders, including patients and practitioners, to “share experiences with biosimilar medicines across Europe.”

The workshop was designed to foster agreement around steps which can lead to increased access to biosimilar medicines, including more competition in the biologics markets.
