Valeant launches Zelapar in USA
The USA's Valeant Pharmaceuticals has launched its Parkinson's disease drug Zelapar (selegiline HCl) on the domestic market, available in pharmacies nationwide from July 19. The agent is the first to use a novel orally-disintegrating delivery technology, which allows the tablets to dissolve within seconds in the mouth and deliver more active drug at a lower dose.
