US court dismisses attempt to import Rx drugs
A US District Court jusdge has dismissed a law suit brought by the authorities of Montgomery County, Maryland, that would have overturned a decision by the Food and Drug Administration to refuse a waiver for the reimportation of low-cost drugs from Canada to county employees. Judge Alexander Williams ruled that the "FDA's denial of the county's waiver request was mandated by federal law."
