Theranexus leaps on deal with Exeltis to commercialize TX01

French CNS specialist Theranexus (Euronext: ALTHX) saw its shares leap more than 34% to 0.65 euros as it revealed a license and supply agreement with Exeltis to commercialize TX01, its novel formulation of a compound already approved in the indication for the treatment of rare neurological diseases.

Under the terms of the agreement, Exeltis, part of the Insud Pharma group, will acquire exclusive rights to market and distribute Theranexus' proprietary product across key regions, including the European Union, UK, Latin America, and selected Middle Eastern countries. This collaboration will target both Gaucher and Niemann-Pick type C diseases.
