Study finds inhaled cortisosteroids for COPD are "overused"
A study by market researchers Decision Resources has found that about half of pulmonologists and a quarter of primary care physicians in the USA, believe that inhaled cortisosteroids are "overused" for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Half of the specialists versus three quarters of the generalists say the drugs "have a role" against COPD.
