Somatogen Receives Milestone Payment
- Somatogen has received its first milestone payment of $1 million from Eli Lilly for its new recombinant hemoglobin manufacturing process. Under the terms of the agreement, Somatogen will manufacture clinical supplies through the completion of phase II trials. Lilly will assume manufacturing for Phase III and all commercial use.
