Schering: Betaferon
- Schering Pty Ltd, the Australian subsidiary of Germany's Schering AG, has received approval in its home market for Betaferon (interferon beta). Australia becomes the second country to approve the drug, for relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis, after the USA in 1993. European registration is expected shortly.
