The pharmaceutical industry has come under the spotlight over the Zika crisis after US President Barack Obama urged a rapid response to the outbreak.
Mr Obama called for the urgent development of tests, vaccines and treatments after being warned it could be 10 years before a vaccine is available.
The mosquito-transmitted Zika virus has been linked to birth defects in 22 countries in the Americas and could spread north into the USA in warmer months.
