US President-elect Donald Trump has chosen a fierce critic of the Affordable Care Act and a proponent of overhauling the nation’s entitlement programs, to lead the Department of Health and Human Services
Mr Trump choice for the post is Representative Tom Price (Republican, Georgia), who is almost guaranteed to repeal President Barack Obama's health law –referred to as Obamacare –since he has already written a proposal to replace it, reported CNBC news.
Analysts were already anticipating a health care overhaul with Trump's election, although some expected continued pressure on drugmakers for high prices.
