US Court dismisses whistleblower case against Millennium Labs

US District Court Judge Joseph Tauro has ordered the complete dismissal of a whistleblower law suit against Millennium Laboratories, a US research-based medication monitoring company, brought by a former Calloway Laboratories' senior officer.

Although the Department of Justice had previously stated publicly - twice - that it was not intervening in the law suit, and consented to its dismissal in a January court filing, the case was nonetheless pursued for nearly a year as a civil matter by Calloway's proxy. By dismissing the case with prejudice, the Court barred any copy-cat lawsuits and the government's investigation of the case is now over.

"Millennium feels vindicated by the Judge's ruling that finally brings closure to an unfortunate distraction from our mission to improve the lives of those suffering from chronic pain," said Howard Appel, president of Millennium Laboratories.
