Ukraine plans to ban pharmaceutical imports from Russia, except 20 vital drugs, the analogues of which are not produced in Ukraine, according to Oleg Musy, Ukraine’s Health Minister.
He added that the government and the national Anti-Monopoly Service plans to accelerate the fight with those pharmaceutical companies which have significantly increased prices for their drugs since the beginning of the military conflict in Ukraine in April of the current year.
According to Mr Musy, as part of this, there are plans for the abolishment of the results of tenders, where wholesale prices set by producers were significantly higher than the average European Union levels.
