Strongly-worded rhetoric around the dangers posed by antibiotic resistance (AMR) is nothing new, but even by these standards, the UK government has laid bare how seriously it regards this issue.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock spoke in uncompromising terms at the World Economic Forum to unveil the UK’s five-year plan and 20-year vision for containing and controlling AMR.
