UK reappoints BIA chairman as life sciences investment envoy

The UK government has reappointed BioIndustry Association (BIA) chairman Daniel Mahony as its Life Sciences Investment Envoy.

The announcement, made during London Life Sciences Week, highlights Dr Mahony’s role in championing investment in the country’s pharma and biotech sectors.

Dr Mahony will play an important role in championing ongoing pension reforms in the UK, led by Chancellor Rachel Reeves, which are expected to boost investment in the industry.
