A new report from the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) shows that the number of apprenticeships offered by pharmaceutical companies more than doubled in the two years between December 2013 and the end of 2015.
The trade body’s report highlights the growing number of collaborations and partnerships between the pharmaceutical industry and academic institutions, including top UK universities, as well as charities and the National Health Service.
Most of the apprenticeships offered are advanced level schemes, with some apprentices working towards foundation and honors degrees.
