UK lawmakers form committee to promote life sciences sector

In the UK, a group of lawmakers from different parties have come together to form a committee for raising political awareness of issues affecting the life sciences industry.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Life Sciences will be chaired by Member of Parliament Daniel Zeichner, and will explore the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

Mr Zeichner said: “I am delighted to continue as Chair of this APPG which will have a key role in highlighting to parliamentarians the valuable contribution our world-leading life sciences sector makes to the nation’s health and wealth."
