UK fast track drug access mooted

A new fast-track system to get the most innovative and transformative drugs to patients more quickly could be introduced in England and Wales, a conference has heard.

It comes amid growing frustration within the life sciences industry that current time frames to bring new treatments to market in the UK are not fit for purpose.
