The two public health interventions that have had the greatest impact on the world’s infectious disease burden are clean water and vaccines — according to the World Health Organization (WHO)1.

This week, the WHO raises awareness of vaccination during World Immunization Week, themed ‘Protected Together, #VaccinesWork’. The theme reminds me of the community benefit of vaccines.
