Takeda UK and Ireland has announced Seyda Atadan Memis as its new general manager.
Seyda is transferring from Takeda in Turkey where she has been the general manager for the last four years, helping launch six innovative medicines and leading the Japanese drugmaker to become one of the top 10 companies within the market. She also led the integration of Takeda and Shire and has more than 20 years of experience in the industry across multiple commercial roles.
She replaces Jon Neal, who is staying with Takeda as the new head of portfolio and pipeline across Europe and Canada.
“I’m hugely excited to be joining the UK and Ireland team and to have the opportunity to collaborate and partner with others to support the National Health Service and enhance patient care. The UK and Ireland are significant markets for Takeda, and I look forward to contributing to a world-leading life sciences industry,” said Seyda.
