Takeda Pharmaceutical (TYO: 4502) has selected three global CSR (corporate social responsibility) programs that emphasize prevention for health in developing and emerging countries.
These programs were selected based on the results of an online vote of all Takeda employees worldwide. Employees from more than 70 countries cast their votes, and selected three programs run by organizations with proven track records: UNICEF, Plan International, and JOICFP. All three of these programs are large-scale programs that are being launched by the aforementioned organizations in partnership with Takeda, Japan’s largest pharma company.
Takeda will commit a total of 2.75 billion yen ($24.5 million) to these three programs.
