Syros stock sweeps upward after positive Phase II results

US hematology company Syros Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: SYRS) has announced “strong and encouraging” initial data from its ongoing mid-stage trial, SELECT-AML-1.

The primary efficacy endpoint was met by all nine of the response evaluable patients in the test group, compared with seven of the ten such patients in the control group.

Shares in the company jumped almost half to around $4 on Wednesday.
