Supply chain firms bid to help solve EU medicines shortfalls

The European pharmaceutical industry has welcomed efforts from Europoean Union government agencies and regulators to address supply chain issues to prevent medicine shortages.

Such efforts include a task force set up by the pan-European Heads of Medicines Agencies.

The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) has also called for greater involvement from supply chain actors in such initiatives.
