SERB Pharma expands emergency care portfolio with Aurlumyn

Philadelphia, USA-based SERB Pharmaceuticals has announced the acquisition of Aurlumyn (iloprost), the only Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved treatment for severe frostbite in the USA.

Aurlumyn, acquired from CiVi Biopharma, will be available during the upcoming winter season, marking another step in SERB’s expansion of its emergency care offerings.

Chief strategy officer Arthur Pignot emphasized the strategic fit of Aurlumyn, noting the product “is set to become a gold standard treatment for frostbite."
