Russian Parliament to expand Seven Nosologies program

The Council of Federation, the upper house of the Russian Parliament has proposed expanding the existing state program "Seven Nosologies," which involves public procurements of the most expensive drugs, designed for the treatment of orphan diseases, reports The Pharma Letter’s local correspondent.

Currently the annual volume of funding allocated by the Russian government on the implementation of the program is estimated at 40 billion roubles ($630 million).
