Leading Russian drugmakers are expanding in the Latin American region by beginning to supply their drugs to regional markets and strengthening of their local presence.
One such companies is Pharmasyntez – one of Russia’s leading drugmakers, which has recently began supplying its anti-cancer drugs, as well as drugs for the treatment of diabetes mellitus and HIV to Ecuador.
An executive director of the company, Nikita Punia, said in an interview with the Russian Vedomosti business paper, the company has already received the necessary permission for such supplies. Other details are not disclosed.
