Research firm notes 'top five vaccine industry trends' of 2016

The vaccine market continued its growth and innovation in 2016, according to a new report, which notes that segment growth, the growing obesity challenge and delivery systems were among the trends noted this year.

Kalorama Information said that Merck & Co (NYSE: MRK), Sanofi Pasteur, a unit of French drug major Sanofi (Euronext: SAN), Pfizer (NYSE: PFE), GlaxoSmithKline (LSE: GSK) and Australia’s CSL Ltd (ASX: CSL) are among the top companies in the market. The healthcare market research publisher has studied vaccine markets for a decade, and this year published its report Vaccines 2016.
