Pharmaceutical event organizer CPhI Worldwide has released its annual report, which features insights and projections from industry figures.
This year’s report highlights unpredictability in the growth of the contract manufacturing (CMO) market over the next five years.
The authors state that, while “the trend towards the integration of pharmaceutical outsourcing continues,” acquisitions are likely to be comprised “not by big deals and large mergers, but smaller commentary services and niche technologies to fill specific technology asset gaps.”
