Pharmaceutical companies are reducing drug supplies to Greece because of unpaid bills and low profits, according to a report published in The Lancet journal on the impact of the economic crisis on the country’s health care infrastructure.
The report assessed how austerity measures have affected the health of the Greek population and their access to public health services in what it calls a “Greek public health tragedy.”
