Artificial intelligence specialist Healx has launched a partnership with Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK) to find novel therapies for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD).
Healx, a Cambridge, UK-based firm using AI technology to discover and develop rare disease treatments, raised $56 million in a series B financing round in late 2019.
The company has since launched a collaboration with Germany’s Boehringer Ingelheim to identify indications related to rare neurological diseases.
