The average productivity of life sciences employees in the UK, expressed as Gross Value Added (GVA), is £104,000 ($128,000), compared to the GVA average of £49,000, according to a new report.
Titled The Economic contribution of the UK Life Sciences industry, the report is by professional services network PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and was commissioned by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), with support from other groups representing parts of the sector including the BioIndustry Association (BIA).
