UK Prime Minister Theresa May suffered a crushing 432 to 202 defeat in Parliament on her proposed deal to leave the European Union, and also faces a vote of no confidence in the government.
As a result, leading pharmaceutical trade groups are urging negotiators to reach agreement on certain actions that need to be taken in order to protect patients.
