Rebuilding customer trust in the pharmaceutical industry was the key theme underpinning the eyeforpharma conference in Barcelona last week, where more than a thousand key decision-makers gathered to share their ideas and experience.
But despite much proclamation that the issue is a top priority, a straw poll of delegates, carried out at the beginning of the conference, revealed that fewer than a third (32%) agree that pharma is trusted among its customers.
