Australian oncologists, together with the cancer charity Cancer Council Australia, have called for more work to improve the country’s health system and technology.
The Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) wants health authorities to focus on biomedical research and finding ways to leverage existing technologies more effectively.
The public statement is a response to a government inquiry led by senator Catryna Bilyk, a brain cancer survivor.
