Medicines containing alcohol subject to new regulations in Russia

Reforms on the regulation of products containing alcohol, including pharmaceutical products, are starting to come into force in Russia.

The Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (ARPM) has representation through its deputy director general, Olga Pentegova, in a working group that has been set up to help smooth the implementation of the new requirements.

This working group has a sub-group that will consider the drugmaking sector and how it will be affected by new regulations on alcohol-containing drugs and ethanol-based pharmaceutical substances.
