Mallinckrodt's INOmax successful in trial of neonates with pulmonary hypertension

UK-based Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: MNK) has ended a trial of INOmax (nitric oxide) gas early due to positive findings.

The company has ended the Phase IV observational registry early as data achieved statistical significance for non-inferiority in premature neonates compared to term and near-term neonates at planned interim analysis.
