BRIEF—Ipsen appoints new general manager in France

French pharma major Ipsen has announced the appointment of Alexis Vandier as general manager of the company’s France operation, effective 31 October.

Alexis has been with Ipsen for seven years, having spent the past four years in the firm’s consumer healthcare business.

Prior to that, he spent 12 years with Sanofi in a variety of finance, sales, marketing, corporate strategy and business development positions.

He will report to Harout Semerjian, president of Ipsen’s global specialty care division.
