Regulatory bodies in India and Japan will work together more closely, both countries vowed at a meeting of politicians and government officials.
An inaugural two-day symposium involving representatives of the two countries’ public health care sectors and the pharmaceutical industry, saw agreement reached that harmonizing regulatory frameworks would benefit trade and technology exchange.
India is scaling up its health care systems and in parallel streamlining the pharmaceutical and medical devices regulatory guidelines.
