Over half a billion pounds’ ($700 million) worth of healthcare agreements were signed between UK and Chinese groups in the course of the Prime Minister’s recent visit to China, it has been revealed.
The Chinese and British medicines regulators also agreed to exchange safety information on medicines to protect patients in both countries.
The agreements include a £200 million investment in the Cambridge Science Park from the hi-tech investment company Tus-Holdings.
