Helsinn and Chugai renew ties for UK and Ireland distribution

Helsinn Group and Chugai Pharma Europe have announced the renewal of their distribution and license agreement for Akynzeo (netupitant-palonosetron) in the UK and Ireland.

Akynzeo is used to treat chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) in adults.

It is the first and only 5-HT3 and NK1 receptor antagonist fixed combination approved in adults for the prevention of acute and delayed CINV.
