Greater international and gender diversity among UK pharma execs

In a finding that might add weight to industry calls for continued free movement of vital talent post-Brexit, a study has shown that country managers and European heads in UK pharma are far more internationally diverse than their French and German counterparts.

New research published by Heidrick & Struggles (Nasdaq: HSII), a leading provider of executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping worldwide, shows that, in stark contrast to France, where only 7% of these execs have international backgrounds, almost three-quarters (70%) of those in the UK come from outside the UK. In Germany, a third of senior roles are held by non-German nationals.
