GlobalData forecasts rise in chronic kidney disease cases

The number of diagnosed chronic kidney disease (CKD) cases in seven major markets is expected to rise from around 21 million to 23 million by 2033.

Industry analyst GlobalData outlined the forecast in its latest report on CKD, which shows the USA will have the highest number of cases at 5.8 million by 2033.

Japan follows closely with 5.64 million cases, while Italy is predicted to have the fewest at approximately 0.93 million.
