Gilead UK and Ireland appoints new general manager

The British and Irish business of California’s Gilead Sciences (Nasdaq: GILD) has appointed Peter Wickersham to the role of VP and general manager for the UK and Ireland.

He succeeds Véronique Walsh, who now assumes the role of president of Gilead Sciences France.

In a statement, Gilead said the new general manager would focus on driving growth and advancing patient care across all of its portfolio of innovative products.
