Genor Biopharma (HKEX: 6998) has announced plans for a significant merger with Edding Group, marking one of the first reverse takeovers involving a Hong Kong-listed biopharma company.
The merger aims to combine both companies' expertise in oncology and autoimmune therapies, driving growth in both the Chinese and international markets.
The merger will see Genor Biopharma issue 1.8 billion new shares to Edding Group's shareholders, and Edding Group will subsequently become a wholly-owned subsidiary.
