Seven vaccine research proposals have been chosen for funding, the latest development in a partnership between the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
In 2015, the two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding, in Beijing, outlining an agreement to work together on key challenges in global health and development.
The goal is to co-fund projects that could lead to innovations that will help realize the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
